Midnite is another 2022 entry into the list of epic online sportsbooks in the UK, but this site comes with a twist. While most sportsbooks bury their eSports coverage deep down among their betting options, the Midnite betting site champions eSports betting as much as it does non-eSports betting.
Even if you’re not an eSports betting fan, there should still be something for you at Midnite. This Midnite review will examine all this betting site has to offer, including the Midnite welcome offer, Midnite bet limits and any Midnite promo code deals you might want to know about.

Bet £10 & Get £20 In Free Bets
Midnite is a UK-based sports book that’s brand new for 2022. The site claims to have been built by a group of eSports betting enthusiasts who liked a little bit of sports betting as well.
The company behind the Midnite betting site is Dribble Media Limited who are indeed registered in the UK (London, in fact). They have some very impressive backers behind them, including the founder of the world’s leading betting exchange Betfair. The Midnite betting site must have been in the planning stage for some time as their United Kingdom Gambling Council licence was granted in 2018. The company is also registered for online gambling but the registered domain of PlayDribble is currently disabled and forwards to Midnite.
One very interesting aspect of the Midnite betting site is ‘CashMode’ which promises to allow you to play your favourite games for cash prizes. CashMode though was disabled at the time of this review. One other aspect of note is that Midnite only has a UK licence, which indicates it does not accept players from beyond the shores of Blighty.
For the Midnite sign up offer this sports betting site is prepared to gift you £20 in free bets, but only after you have placed a £20 bet yourself. There are strict terms and conditions involved so check below before you sign up to make sure you are following all the rules.
First of all, that qualifying bet of £20 cannot be placed on any old bet. It must be an accumulator bet with a minimum of four legs, and the total odds must be at least 2/1 (3.0). Once that bet has settled, and it does not matter if the bet wins or not, you will be handed £20 of bet credit to use at the site.
While the qualifying criteria of this welcome bonus is very tight, there is more welcome news once your bet credits are in your account. The bonus comes with no wagering, and no restrictions on the events, odds or type of bets that you can use your betting credit on. This is something of a rarity in this day and age, as most ‘bonus funds’ do come with restrictions.
Your bonus credit is just credit, remember, and not stake money. For example, if you use your £20 credit on Erling Haaland scoring for Manchester City against Manchester United at 2/1 and he does, you will get back £40 (winnings only). If you use your own money you’d return £60 (winnings and stake).
Now we’d like to talk about the other promotions offered by the Midnite betting site … and we say we’d like to because we can’t, because there aren’t any. That £20 welcome bonus is the only promotions currently on offer at this sports betting site. If this situation changes then no doubt you will hear about it from us. The site says it does offer ‘bespoke’ promotions, but we could find no further details.
Midnite promotions | Offer description | Wager requirement | Min qualify odds | Offer expiry | Min deposit |
Welcome Offer | Bet £20, Get £20 | None | 2/1 (3.0) | n/a | £10 |
While that Midnite welcome offer bonus does not really qualify as a free bet (it’s more bet credit than an actual free bet) it’s the closest thing to a Midnite free bet available at the site. If you love genuine free bets (and who doesn’t?) then any news of a Midnite free bet will be added to this very page, with news about it elsewhere on this site.
There are plenty of other sites that offer free bets, and we’re always keen to keep our site users ‘in the know’ about them. You’ll certainly be kept abreast of the latest free bets available at our approved, safe betting sites.
If you are based in the UK and have placed a few sports bets in your time then you will know that you should only ever place bets in the UK at sports books with UKGC licences. If you use a sports book without a UKGC licence in the UK then you only have yourself to blame if things go wrong.
We have already mentioned that the Midnite betting site has a UKGC licence, so you are perfectly safe in this regard. The site also has a complete and thorough privacy policy which will inform you of how they get their data from you, and what they do with it. Finally, Midnite says it has ‘state of the art’ security measures in place to prevent your information from falling into the wrong hands.
The site offers a very good ‘Responsible Play’ section that you can turn to should you think your gambling is getting a little out of hand. Not only does it offer tips on how you can play responsibly, you can also learn how you can self-exclude, set deposit limits and undergo a cooling-off period.
The Midnite betting site will also offer a long list of very useful links. Some links are to organisations that can offer you direct help if you feel you are developing a gambling problem – Gamcare, GambleAware and Gambling Therapy. Unlike other sites though, Midnite also offers links to software that you can install that will restrict your access any site you wish, for all-time or for periods during the day. These include Netnanny, Gamblock, Betfilter and CYBERsitter. For the Midnite betting site to take this extra step, a round of applause is required at the minimum.
For the next step in our Midnite review we are going to look a little more closely under the hood to check out what this site can really bring to the wagering table. By reviewing this info we are hoping it’ll help you decide whether Midnite is a sports book worthy of your custom.
With the emphasis at the Midnite betting site on eSports it’s only fair that we first concentrate upon this. If you’re an eSports fan or eSports bettor, then you’ll be able to bet on the following video games at the Midnite CS:GO and other eSports site:
That really is quite the list for our Midnite eSports review and there are very few places in the UK with such an extensive selection of eSports betting markets.
The selection of ‘real’ sports is as extensive as you’d expect it to be. The main emphasis is, as ever, on football with the EPL a particular highlight. There is also very good coverage of tennis, cricket, darts, snooker, golf and all the popular US sports. Specials are covered too.
There is no ‘best odds guaranteed‘ at the Midnite betting site but that’s not something you may wish to concern yourself too greatly about. We compared the odds at Midnite for the latest round of EPL matches with sites that did offer ‘best odds guaranteed’ and found them to be roughly equivocal.
We always examine bet limits for reviews, and our Midnite review (including our Midnite eSports review) is no different … or it would be if we could find the info! The minimum Midnite bet at the Midnite bookmaker is very hard to find, and support didn’t help. Perhaps you’ll fare better if you attempt to find Midnite bet limits, but as part of our Midnite review we couldn’t even find it in the Midnite sports betting T&Cs.
There’s a Midnite live betting section here for both eSports and non-eSports. The eSports section is not as extensive as non-eSports for Midnite live betting, but that’s to be expected as there are more non-eSports events taking place at any given moment than eSports. Both sections are very easy to use and importantly, are kept up to date.
When it comes to non-eSports there is no streaming at the Midnite bookmaker. Other, larger sites tend to have the monopoly on live streaming so this news comes as no surprise.
Live streaming of eSports is available, which is something that makes Midnite sports betting somewhat unique. This feature is especially useful, and perhaps even essential when you are using the Midnite live betting section for eSports.
Cash Out of course is available at Midnite, with both in-play and pre-event bets. If you are a fervent ‘cash out’ user then it is always best to check that you can use cash out on any specific event you’re betting on.
The main ‘other feature’ at the Midnite sports betting site is their ‘CashMode’ section which ‘lets you play your favourite games to win cash prizes’. Sadly, this section was shut down at the time of this review, but a relaunch was promised in 2023. Midnite was also offering NFTs based on the Ethereum blockchain, plus their superb ‘Rundown’ (or ‘RNDWN’ as it is stylised) section has news of all the latest and major eSports and non-eSports events.
There are lots of ways in which you can get in contact with Midnite, including joining and then taking part in the discussions on their own Discord server. Live chat is available too, but it is not 24/7 and we could not find details of when live chat is available at the site.
You can email the site too, via an email applet or the address [email protected]. There’s even a snail mail address available!
Signing up at Midnite is a very easy process that you should complete with very little effort. We’re going to step through the process anyhow, as we’re good like that …
Head to the Midnite site in order to get things started. The easiest way to do this is by clicking on the button below.
The button you need to click if you are new to Midnite is ‘Sign up – £20 bonus’. This will of course lead to the inevitable form-filling process. Complete all the required information to keep the account creation process going.
You don’t have to verify your account there and then, but it’s probably best that you do. Firstly, you’ll be sent an email to verify your email address, which you need to reply to.
You can also click on the ‘Verfiy account’ button on the applet that pops up once you have completed your registration. You’ll be asked to send a proof of ID and proof of address. By verifying your account you’ll be unlocking rapid withdrawals and exclusive offers, and upping your deposit limit to £2,000.
Once you have verified your account you can unlock the deposit process. There are five deposit methods available and you can find out all about them further on in this review.
When you have added money to your account you can start betting. To bet on any event outcome just click on the outcome’s odds. This will transfer your wager to your betting slip. Choose your stake, and hit the ‘place bet’ button to set your wager.
In our example bet we’ve have selected Liverpool to win at Old Trafford in the EPL at odds of 1.45. We’ve stuck a fiver on it and when Salah and co embarrass Maguire and his mates we’re going to get £7.25 back!
Once your money has come in you can head to your cashier section and start the withdrawal process. As you have already verified your account (which you need to do to make a deposit in the first place) there is no need to verify your account again. Midnite also promises super speedy withdrawals!
Midnite does offer a dedicated betting app, but to Apple iPhone users only. To get the app you need to head to the AppStore – you can follow the link given by the site or go and search yourself. There is no news on the site as to whether an Android app will be offered too, but Android users can still use the Midnite site using their favourite mobile browser.
There’s no available Midnite promo code or Midnite bonus code currently. We did though notice an ‘enter your Midnite bonus code here’ box when we were completing the sign up process, which suggests a Midnite promo code may become available in the very near future. If we find one, or any other details of Midnite offers, then you’ll be the first to hear about it here.
You can look at all the information surrounding bonus codes and promo codes at all the top UK betting sites here:
There are only four payment methods available at Midnite, but they are all very common ones so you shouldn’t really have any problems moving money into and out of your Midnite account. Full details of Midnite payment methods below:
Banking Method | Fees | Min Deposit | Min Withdraw | Withdraw times |
Debit Cards | None | £5 | £5 | Up to 4 hours |
Skrill | None | £5 | £5 | Up to 2 hours |
PayPal | None | £5 | £5 | Up to 2 hours |
Trustly | None | £5 | £5 | Up to 24 hours |
It’s time to summarise our exclusive Midnite review and choose which aspects of the site we like, and which apsects we think could do with improving …
Midnite is just what you have been waiting for if you are a fan of eSports betting. The eSports coverage is brilliant here, and the eSports betting side of the site is exceptional. The non-eSports side of Midnite is pretty fine too!
We really appreciate fast withdrawals and this is another section in which Midnite excels, as it does with customer verification.
We’re not one for looking into our crystal wagering balls but we can see a glorious future ahead for Midnite as we think things here (which are good enough already) are only going to get better and better. Why not bet here? You can from all hours of the day, ‘midnite’ onwards!

Cricket Odds Need Improvement
Cricket odds could be more competitive. Found better value elsewhere. Customer service tried to help, but the bookie needs to step up its game in this department
Slick, Swift, Boosted Betting
Regular boosts and acca insurance make it a go-to for me. The app is slick, and payouts are swift

Not so good
Midnite is very easy to start up but there is no casino. Their customer support is not available always and they should add more payment methods to their system.
I requested a report
I requested a report of a blackjack hand that paid $16,800 on September 4th. I have not received a response and I will be filing an official complaint to the governing board if this issue is not resolved. I want the balance before and after the hand along with the payout on each hand that won.
